This course is of much importance as the subject of Death is relevant to all Muslims.

Course aim:
To equip Muslim sisters with essential knowledge around the various topics related to before someone passes away and after someone passes away.

Wouldn’t you like to know ‘what to do’ if a family member or friend passes away?

Topics include:

• Etiquette of visiting the sick
• What to do at the time of Sakarat al-Mawt (the pangs of death)
• Actions to take when someone passes away
• Burial preparations
• Method of ghusl & kafan (washing & shrouding)
• Burial of the deceased
• Life in the grave
• Ta’ziyah – consoling the bereaved in accordance with the Sunnah
